Three Monster Hunter Street Fighter 5 Costumes Are Available For Ken, Ibuki, Mika

Three different Monster Hunter Street Fighter 5 costumes have been released for Ken, Ibuki, and R. Mika along with special background music.

If you’re one of those people who in addition to playing Street Fighter but also enjoys Monster Hunter, you might be in luck for a particular bit of Street Fighter 5 DLC. Three Monster Hunter Street Fighter 5 costumes for Ken, Ibuki, and R. Mika have been released as one big bundle.

Each of the different characters will be getting a different costume: Ibuki will be wearing Kirin armor, Ken will be getting Rathalos armor, and R. Mika will be wearing a Zinogre X armor set. This isn’t the first time Monster Hunter has been given prominence in a Capcom fighting game, either.

A Monster Hunter custom character made her debut in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite when that game came out, and now with the success of Monster Hunter World, it’s not very surprising that Capcom is also wanting to put the game into other Capcom titles in a variety of ways. Monster Hunter World came out on the PC today, so it’s likely that these Monster Hunter Street Fighter 5 costumes were released to promote that release.

In addition to the three different costumes, the DLC pack that gives you the outfits will also be getting you a new piece of background music called “Proof of a Hero”. The entire bundle altogether will cost you $9.99, a fairly cheap bundle for what you get out of it.

However, if you don’t want to shell out ten bucks for costumes, you can play Extra Battle in order to get enough Fight Money to get all of them. It’s more labor-intensive, but if you’re trying to save money you can have that as another viable option…though the challenges close up later today, so you should hurry if you don’t have them already.

Either way, you can pick up these Monster Hunter Street Fighter 5 costumes today for Playstation 4 and PC.
