Similar to previous Mass Effect games, you can have sex with different characters. The characters whom you can romance also depends on whether you play with Scott or Sara. There are, however, some characters who are bisexual.

Mass Effect Andromeda Romance
If you manage to successfully romance three or more characters in the game, you’ll unlock ‘Matchmaker’ Trophy/Achievement. There are, however, a few things which you should keep in mind while interacting with your potential love interest.
First and foremost, you should never upset your potential love interest. Emotional and Casual responses are usually the safest ones, however, I’d advise you to lean towards the ones indicated by a heart.
Finally, romancing some character is easy and is hard with others. Moreover, some characters require you to complete a mission.

Romance Tips and Guidelines
To break it down, Scott Ryder can romance Cora, Peebee, Vetra, Gil, Avela, Reyes Vidal, and Keri. Sara Ryder, on the other hand, can romance Liam, Peebee, Vetra, Jaal, Suvi, Reyes Vidal, and Keri.
As a general rule of thumb, romancing a character requires you to flirt with your desired character at least three times and also complete Loyalty Missions – in some cases. Moreover, you’re free to flirt with as many characters as you want without offending the others.
However, after fully committing to a character, you can no longer flirt with other characters – Keri is the only exception in this case. Some basic tips and guidelines leading to successful romance include:
- Acknowledging all their e-mails
- Choosing the ‘Flirt’ whenever the opportunity arises
- Do everything you’re asked of and complete Loyalty Missions
In addition to choosing the dialogue options given below, you must always keep these things in mind!
Bisexual
Peebee
One of the most important things you need to keep in mind if you wish to have sex with Peebee is to avoid pushing her off when you meet her for the first time. If you do push her away, she’ll block you out for the rest of the playthrough.
At EOS, when she says, “if you wake them up too, they must be lead to whatever master switch might fix the radiation.” you need to respond with, “so we follow the thread.” Any other option will offend her.
This romance culminates in a unique ‘friendship’ which opens unique content and an additional option for exclusivity. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“You crave excitement, huh?”
You need to select this dialogue at Tempest: Escape Pods.
“Flirting.”
After selecting the previous dialogue, you need to select this one at Tempest.
“It’s true.”
After acquiring the piece of the Remnant Tech that Peebee needs, select this option at the Tempest: Escape Pods during ‘Building’ conversation round.
“I’d want strings.”
After selecting the previous dialogue option, you need to choose this option during ‘Zero G’ conversation round at the Tempest: Escape Pods.
Commit
After leaving the Tempest at least once and completing the Loyalty Mission, you should be able to commit at Tempest: Escape Pods and Meeting Room.
Advance Relationship
If you’re in an exclusive relationship with Peebee and have completed The Journey to Meridian, you should be able to interact with ‘the gift’ in Tempest: Pathfinder Quarters to advance the relationship.
Vetra Nyx
Once you’re on your spaceship after EOS, head down the ladder towards the Cargo Bay. During the conversation, look for “You’re intense. I like it.” in order to flirt with her and begin your journey towards having sex with her.
This romance culminates in an exclusive romance. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“You’re intense. I like it.”
You need to choose this dialogue option at the Tempest: Armory.
“Anyone special in your life?”
You need to choose this dialogue option at the Tempest after choosing the previous one.
“You’re too tough for that.”
You need to choose this dialogue option at the Tempest: Armory during ‘Opening Up’ conversation round once you’ve completed previous conditions and A Trail of Hope.
“I’m here for you both.”
You need to choose this dialogue option at the Tempest: Armory during ‘Post Loyalty’ conversation round after completing the Loyalty Mission.
“I’m dreaming of someone.”
You need to choose this dialogue option at the Armory during ‘Dreaming’ conversation round and after completing Hunting the Archon.
Kiss and Commit
You need to have Vetra in your active squad, must’ve read e-mails, and kiss her in Kadara during ‘Aya Friendship’ conversation round.
Narrative Action
You’ll reach the climax at the Tempest after completing The Journey to Meridian.
Keri
After starting Path of a Hero, flirt with her as much as you possibly can and check on her after A Better Beginning, A Trail of Hope, The Journey to Meridian, etc. You should be able to have a fling with her after the completion of Journey to Meridian.
Reyes Vidal
This romance culminates in a unique ‘friendship’ which opens unique content and an additional option for exclusivity. These are all the instances when flirt options are presented:
- No Sloane’s Deal at Hunting the Archon
- After interrogating Vehn at Tartarus Bar
- During Murder in Kadara Port
- During Divided Loyalties at Roekaar Hideout
- During Divided Loyalties while Leaving the Hideout
- While asking about Reyes’ code name
- During Precious Cargo During Precious Cargo at Kralla’s Song
- During Precious Cargo at Warehouse
- During Precious Cargo, Wrap-Up
- During Night Out, Vidcon Call
- During Night Out while Entering Party
- During Night Out while Speaking to Keema Dohrgun
- During Night Out, Stockroom
Jaal
With effect from June update, Scott can now also have romance with Jaal which was exclusive for Sara only, earlier. Jaal can be found in the Tempest Tech Lab so you should go meet him and have a chat with him every now and then.
Once you complete his loyalty mission and have received his email, consider yourself halfway through winning his heart.
Pay him a visit in Haral where you will get a chance to commit. A few more encounters at the lab and your commitment will lead to the final action after Mission 5: Journey to Meridian by the waterfall on Aya
Scott Ryder
Cora Harper
You encounter Cora after heading to EOS. Find her in the room by heading down the ladder and make sure to ask her about military training and complete her Alliance mission.
As mentioned earlier, you need to choose Emotional choices most of the times and compliment her as much as possible. If you want to get laid, make sure to select “We’ll be Good Together” whenever it presents itself.
This romance culminates in exclusive romance. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“We’ll be good together.”
You need to find her in Tempest: Bio Lab and choose this dialogue option.
“Oh? What about now?”
You need to find her on the Tempest after completing the previous dialogue and select this one.
“You’re a romantic.”
After leaving the Tempest at least once, you need to choose this dialogue during ‘Reaction to Eos Settlement’ round in Tempest: Bio Lab.
“You and I can handle anything.”
After completing Mission 3 and choosing the previous dialogue option, select this dialogue before Mission 5.
Kiss
You need to kiss her at Eos: Prodromos after having flirted with her at least three times.
Culmination
You need to reach the climax in Tempest: Bio Lab before Mission 7.
Avela
Here are all the dialogue options that you need to select:
“To meet people like you.”
Once you’ve visited Aya and met with Evfra, choose this option at Aya: Docks.
“I did it for you.” and “You got it.”
During Forgotten History at Aya: Museum, you need to select these options. Once you’ve returned the instrument, select “Not everything, thanks to you.” After you return the figurine, choose “Hope it helps my chances.”
Kiss
You should be able to kiss again in front of waterfall in Aya after completing the Journey to Meridian” and checking your e-mail.
Lexi T’Perro
If you wish flirt a little with Natalie Dormer albeit in a video game, you need to go with logical and emotional responses. Once you’re on your spaceship, head down the ladder to the Medical Bay and choose, “You’re full of surprises” to begin your fling but don’t expect anything more.
Gil Brody
In order to romance Gil Brody, you need to find him at the Cargo Bay. In order to open up with her, you need to select “I do more than show up.”
This romance culminates in a unique ‘friendship’ which opens unique content and an additional option for exclusivity. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“I’ll do more than show up.”
You need to select this dialogue option at Tempest: Engineering.
“And now what?”
After visiting Aya, you need to select this dialogue option at Tempest: Engineering.
“Slow down, big guy.”
Once you’ve completed A Trail of Hope, select this option at Tempest: Engineering.
Commit
Once you’ve completed Hunting the Archon, check your e-mail and meet Gil on Prodromos to commit.
Culmination
In order to culminate your romance with Gil, you simply need to return to Tempest: Engineering, Pathfinder’s Quarters and do so.
Sara Ryder
Liam Kosta
You should be able to find Liam at the backside of the Cargo Room. In order to proceed and open up with him, praise him and crew.
This romance culminates in a unique ‘friendship’ which opens unique content and an additional option for exclusivity. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“Company like this.”
You need to select this dialogue option at Tempest: Storage Room.
“Explain and make it good.” and “You two should sell tickets.”
After selecting the previous dialogue, you need to select these at Tempest: Storage Room. You must have visited Aya and completed Liam’s research project.
Kiss
You can kiss at Tempest: Storage Room after completing A Trail of Hope and selecting previous dialogue choices.
“I enjoyed time with you too.”
After returning to Liam and viewing wrap-up bar scene, choose this option at Aya: Market.
“I’m interested in you.”
After the Angaran Resistance has attacked EOS and you’ve completed the Loyalty Mission, choose this dialogue option.
Commit
You should be able to commit after you Liam asks you to meet at Prodromos.
Culminate
You should be able to culminate the relationship with Liam at EOS: Prodromos after visiting Prodromos and researching jet pack.
Suvi Anwar
Suvi is another character whom you can romance as Scott. After she joins the crew, you need to welcome her and say, “I could show you” to begin the long journey which will eventually lead you in bed with her.
This romance culminates in exclusive romance. Here are all the dialogue options that you need to select:
“I could show you.”
You need to select this options at Tempest: Bridge.
“We should chat more on this.”
Once you’ve successfully settled Prodromos, choose this dialogue option at Tempest: Bridge.
“You’re not alone.”
Once you’ve completed A Trail of Hope, choose this option at Tempest: Bridge.
Commit
In order to commit, you need to complete Hunting the Archon and commit at Tempest: Bridge. The culmination occurs after completing the Journey to Meridian and after receiving an e-mail at the Tech-Lab.
Jaal
This romance culminates in a unique ‘friendship’ which opens unique content and an additional option for exclusivity. Here are all the dialogues you need to select:
“One more thing.”
You need to select this option after recruiting Jaal and before completing A Trail of Hope.
“Interested?”
After the previous meeting, you need to choose this option at Tempest.
“I think you’re special.”
After all the previous meet-ups and visiting Kadara, select this option at Tempest: Tech Lab.
Commit
After completing his Loyalty Mission, reading his e-mail, and having him in your party; you should be able to commit at Havarl: Mom’s House.
“I adore you.”
You need to choose this option at Tempest: Tech Lab after completing the Journey to Meridian. You must do so before completing the game.
Culmination
You should be able to culminate at Aya Hub: By Waterfall after completing the Journey to Meridian.
