Mercedes is one of the archer hero that sealed away the Black Mage and got encased in the ice due to the curse of the Black Mage.
She has a unique weapon, a unique mount (Unicorn) and many unique skills that make her attacking and a very mobile class in Maplestory.
She is one of the new additions in the Maplestory along with Demon Slayer. Read the following guide for leveling up different Job Skills and which Skill Builds you should use for completing each job.
Maplestory – Mercedes
Mercedes was a royal blood and ruled the village of Elluel. To protect her village she has to fight the evil Black Mage. She successfully seals the Black Mage but gets cursed by the Black Mage. Freud’s dragon protects her from the curse and saves her.
She rushes toward her village to save the people but it is too late. She is the last person to get encased by the ice in Elluel. She wakes up centuries later in her bedroom and now she has to save her people, and that is where you come in.
Following are the Skills and Builds you can use to complete all jobs and level up your character.
Mercedes Beginner Job Skills
Elf’s Recovery
You can recover your energy for 4 seconds and your HP and MP are recovered by 5%.
Stylish Move
You get instant teleportation from start to the end of the rope (↑ + jump).
King’s Qualification
Attack speed is increased by 1, speed by 10 and jump by 20. Additionally, you get a level 30 charm.
Elf’s Blessing
You can return to Eurel and gain 10% XP permanently. The cooldown is 1800 seconds if you teleport.

You can shoot arrows at multiple enemies in front of you.

Acrobatic Jump
While in mid-air, you can jump again to glide a specific distance. The distance covered while gliding is increased with the increase in skill level. MP cost is reduced from 28 to 10 after level 10.
Sharp Aiming
Your critical rate is increased permanently. By 2% at level 1 and by 40% at level 20.

Force empowered arrows can deal damage to multiple enemies.

Charge Drive
Up to 8 enemies are pushed forward and then suspended air. When they are in air, they deal extra damage.

MP Cost: 20, Pushes enemies and deals 102% damage. 182% damage will be done when the enemies are launched into the air and 2% bonus damage to airborne enemies will be given.
Level 15
MP Cost: 25, Deals 130% damage on pushing the enemies. 210% damage will be done when the enemies are suspended in air and 30% bonus damage to airborne enemies will be given.
Final Shot
You need 1 charge drive for this skill. You can shoot multiple arrows to hit the enemies in the air.

You can attack 6 enemies 3 times when you jump off a height of 120%.

High Kick Demolition
You need 5 final shot for this one. You will be able to float (invisible to the enemies in the air) in air and charge towards the enemies. Additionally, charge dive damage is increased permanently.
Level 1
MP Cost: 24, Damage: 106%, 1% chance of instant kill, Charge Drive Damage +10%.
Level 15
Active Effects: MP Cost: 32, Damage: 120%, 15% chance of instant kill, Charge Drive Damage +30%.
Ignis Lore
The damage is increased for a specific period. Additionally, there is always a chance to ignore the enemy’s attacks.
Level 1
MP Cost: 40, ATT +2, Duration: 47 seconds, 5% chance to avoid the enemey’s attack.
Level 20
AMP Cost: 60, ATT +40, Duration: 180 seconds, 20% chance to avoid the enemey’s attack.
Leap Tornado
When you have jumped to height of 120% or more, you can shoot arrows by rotating fast in the air.

Elemental Knight
A spirit is summoned that helps you fight against the enemies. The spirits are:
- Frost Spirit – Your attacks have a chance to freeze the enemy.
- Fire Spirit – Attacks have a chance to make the enemy suffer from continuous fire damage.
- Shadow Spirit – Causes more damage than Fire or Frost spirits.
Strike Dual Shot
Multiple arrows are projected towards enemies at a fast speed and there is also a chance that you may stun the enemies.

MP Cost: 20, Attacks up to 4 enemies and deals 107% damage on them 4 times, 23% chance to stun the enemy for 2 seconds.
Level 20
MP Cost: 35, Attacks up to 4 enemies and deals 126% damage on them 4 times, 80% chance to stun the enemy for 6 seconds.
Water Shield
You can create a water shield using spirit’s strength which will absorb some damage give resistance against states.

Unicorn Spike
A unicorn is summoned to attack the enemies in front of you. The enemies can be weaken for a particular duration.

Mastery: +70%, Weapon ATT: +30, Minimum Critical Damage: +15%.
Legendary Spear
Many special arrows will be shot towards multiple enemies doing 100% critical damage. Enemy’s defense is lowered and you also permanent increase in Leaf Tornado damage.
Level 1
MP Cost: 40, Maximum number of enemies hit: 12, Damage: 458%, Number of attacks: 2. Reduces the enemy’s defense by -1% for 5 seconds, Cooldown: 10 seconds. Passive Effects: Leap Tornado +11% damage.
Level 20
MP Cost: 60, Maximum number of enemies hit: 12, Damage: 572%, Number of attacks: 2. Reduces the enemy’s defense by -20% for 15 seconds, Cooldown: 5 seconds. Passive Effects: Leap Tornado +30% damage.
Rolling Moonsault
This is applicable after the enemies are mid-air using charge drive. You will execute multiple attacks while you and your enemies are in mid-air. Charge Drive is permanently increased.
Used after your enemies are tossed to the air after Charge Drive. Spin rapidly in the air while you and your enemies float in the air and do continuous attacks. Additionally, Charge Drive’s damage will permanently increase.

You will get the legendary weapon of Ishtar which causes maximum damage to the enemies in front of you. The damage of Strike Dual Shot is also increased permanently.

The damage and accuracy are increased permanently. There is also a chance for the final attack.

Damage increment by 6 and accuracy by 1%. The probability of Final Attack increased by 41% and damage by 76%.
Level 30
Damage increment by 20 and accuracy by 10%. The probability of Final Attack increased by 70% and damage by 105%, A
Maple Warrior
Stats of all the members are increased for specific period.
Hero’s Will
You get the ability to nullify the abnormalities induced by the enemies for specific period. Has a cool down of 600 seconds initially.
Lightning Edge
You can execute an instant attack and damage the enemies in your path. Initially costs you 54 MP and causes 290% damage which are improved at level 30.
