LittleBigPlanet 3’s developer – Sumo Digital – has been revealed to be working on several AAA projects, where currently one is being powered by Unreal Engine 4.

According to recent job postings, the UK-based studio is looking for a Senior Physics Programmer who will be working in Unreal Engine 4 on an “undisclosed AAA project currently in pre-production.” Amongst the various requirements, the candidate should be able to design and implement complex engine components.

Additionally the game’s physics will emphasize on “vehicle simulation,” and relate to collisions and fluid-dynamics. That mention of vehicles is interesting but at this point it would be too less to simply speculate a new driving simulator for the PlayStation 4 and/or Xbox One.

A second job posting is searching for a Lead World Designer to work on a “large, genre defining, unannounced AAA title” that will be an “industry changing game.”

This year Sumo Digital shipped out Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox 360 and LittleBigPlanet 3 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Both were received warmly.
