Here’s How Battlefield 5 Graphics Compare On All The Different Platforms

Battlefield 5 graphics are now available to see in a graphics comparison video which you can see here, and judge which console looks best.

The beta for Battlefield 5 is well underway, and now that we can actually get a good look at what the game looks like, we can compare the various platforms and how they handle the Battlefield 5 graphics among themselves, especially considering how far it’s likely to have come since Battlefield 1.

There are four different categories to currently judge the Battlefield 5 graphics on, the Xbox One X, Xbox One, Playstation 4 Pro, and Playstation 4. While the X and the Pro are both sure to be a jump up from their less-advanced versions, each console might have something different about them that they excel at.

Like most of the more recent Battlefield games, the games use Frostbite as a graphics engine, which can be guaranteed to maintain high-quality textures at all times. However, at the same time, there’s still a big difference in resolution between the regular Xbox One and regular Playstation 4, a disparity that has been present since the two consoles released.

The more premium consoles are roughly the same, being able to pick out things in the Battlefield 5 graphics with finer detail than the more generic versions of their consoles, and they also have anti-aliasing, which helps to smooth things out more. There is also a greater focus on lighting, which changes from console to console. However, the Xbox One X appears to look the best of all of the consoles, even if the Playstation 4 looks better than the Xbox One.

And these Battlefield 5 graphics don’t even involve the PC yet, which is likely to have better graphics than even the Xbox One X, considering the pattern that normally follows with PC games compared to consoles.

While we don’t know when the PC beta will be coming, Battlefield 5 is supposed to be coming out on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on October 19 of this year. You can see the graphics comparison video further up above.
