It goes without saying that we will not hearing about Grand Theft Auto VI – GTA 6 – or whatever it will be called anytime soon, but it is not preventing rumors from surfacing online.
Last year, we came across a rumor stating that GTA 6 might span across the entire USA, hinting at the scale of the game. As massive as it sounds, the rumor was quickly shunned by fans since it does not make a whole lot of sense.
According to a new rumor, however, it seems like Rockstar Games is considering Las Venturas and San Fierro as potential GTA 6 locations in which the game might take place.
A part of San Andreas, these are the only two locations that are missing from 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V. Near the release date of the game, Rockstar Games provided an explanation as to why the studio decided to do away with Las Venturas and San Fierro.
According to Rockstar Games, the decision was made because home consoles did not provide enough resources and the studio had to suffice with Los Santos and Blaine County. If you remember, GTA V was originally released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 first and then on Microsoft Windows and current generation of consoles.
Longtime fans of the franchise, on the other hand, want to see Vice City from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to return as GTA 6 setting as an it has been quite a long time since Miami-modelled setting.
Whatever the case be, GTA 6 is a long way; maybe sometime in 2018/2019 if Rockstar Games’ launching pattern is to be followed. However, the hype of the game is real as evident by a fan-made teaser trailer that went live last year. Rockstar Games probably have another Red Dead title in the pipeline.
