Just days ago, Amazon listed the God of War Collector’s Edition for 200 Euros. Now, yet another German retailer has listed the collector’s edition for the game ahead of its possible official reveal at E3 2017. According to a listing by SpieleGrotte, the collector’s edition is releasing with a statue of about 23 cm, showing Kratos and Atreus facing two Helwalkers.
Atreus is a king of Mycenae in the Peloponnese, the son of Pelops and Hippodamia, and the father of Agamemnon and Menelaus. His descendants are known as Atreidai or Atreidae. Atreus and his twin brother Thyestes killed their half-brother for the throne of Olympia. They were both exiled by their father and since God of War PS4 is taking on Greek Mythology, the appearance of these characters is not surprising at all.
The statue indicates that at some point Kratos and Atreus will join forces for a common cause or against a common enemy.

All of these will cost you 200 Euros, the price was the same at Amazon Germany as well as Game Grotte. The listing also mentioned a released date for January 15, 2018, which could be a placeholder. The one at Amazon Germany was January 18.
Consumers can go ahead and pre-order from these websites but we highly recommend not to until the official reveal and announcement.
God of War is releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. A final release date is yet to be announced by Sony Santa Monica. But a report suggests that the game is delayed to 2018.
