Breakpoint Ghost War PvP Tips

What is Ghost War?

Ghost War is the PvP mode that’s a part of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Ghost War may be accessed practically from the start of the game, although at least one talent from the tree must be gained before it is accessible.

You may always spend a little time in Ghost War if you want to take a break from the main mission and resource collection of Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Once you are in the Ghost War section, you have to choose between two options, Standard or Custom matches. All the challenges, rewards and achievements are going to be found under Ghost War Missions.

Ghost war game modes

In Ghost war: Elimination and Sabotage, two game types will be offered, Elimination and Sabotage. Elimination is  a 4v4 team death match mode in which you must hunt down and eliminate the opposing team. Sabotage is a 4v4 game mode in which one team attempts to place a bomb as the other team tries to disarm it.

You can swap modes to test the abilities of both environments by adopting a 4v4 concept in both PvE and PvP.

Maps

In Ghost War, there are six different maps in the Auroa Archipelago to explore. You have an option to choose between these maps in the PvP mode.

Similar to battle royale games, the playable area decreases in Ghost War maps over time so you can’t stay on the outer ends of the map and try to snipe your enemies as the map will force you to push inwards after a certain amount of time.

Custom Matches

You can also play custom matches in PvP mode with unique modifiers and rules but these matches won’t be included in your game progression.

Missions

Missions can be found under Standard matches on the bottom tab of the Ghost War interface. During a Ghost War match, Ghost War objectives are activities you have to perform.

If you complete any of these missions, you will reward of skill points, skill credits, additional customization options and unique Ghost war benefits in multiplayer mode to make yourself even stronger.

Progression Tree

Each ghost has a progression tree containing all components of progression, certain perks, and passive skills. Almost all of these advantages operate in the PvP setting.

Skills, Loadouts and Gear

Your skills, load-outs, and gear is conserved in the PvP mode and is carried along from your campaign. Similarly, leaving the PvP mode will take all these things that you have gained, to the campaign. Some passive skills are deactivated to maintain a balanced playing environment and vice versa.

Each class may collect and use a number of unique PvP equipment. like adrenaline shots and gas drones. You can also play PvP with low-level character and gear. You can play PvP with low-level characters and gear as well.

Gear Level

Gear Level in PvP is deactivated. Weapons have PvP-specific damage and caps are used to decrease the maximum stat values for equipment and weapons. The progression tree has no significant influence on the power balance between new and experienced players.

Hacking the surveillance system

You have a chance to hack into the surveillance system across all maps in Ghost War which is a very good opportunity to check the location of your opponent team. This will definitely give you an upper hand over them.

Beware though, as the opponent team might be on the same task and would be hacking the system too. You do not want to end up dying just because you tried to hack the surveillance system carelessly and without any backup.

Drones

You have no drone at your disposal forever. Rather, it is located on the map as a power up. Once the drone is engaged it controls like it usually does, but you have to take a lot more attention to wider regions. Players are usually much smarter than the AI thus you can get sniped easily.

Hide under the treeline since it is difficult to distinguish the drone even when marked and move erratically to mislead snipers. Drones are quick, weak, and very helpful for information collecting.

Caches

If you go and check the caches in the PvP mode, you will find syringes and drones there. These can be very helpful assets for you in the game. The syringes are used for healing purposes while the drones are used for spying purposes.

You can use the drones to check what the opponent team is doing and you can create a counterplan for that. Your drones are noticeable and if you don’t use them carefully then they can get spotted and shot down.

Skills

Your skills play a major part in Ghost War as your success in the mode depends on both, your skills, and gears. The Ghosts taking part in Ghost War win depending on their skills and gear.

These are some of the tips that will help you in the game if you use these smartly. Other than these, your own focus also plays a part in winning in Ghost War
