The Void has announced its first major partnership with SONY, which will give the visitor of the Madame Tussauds’ New York a chance to see what it is like to be a Ghostbuster with Ghostbuster Dimensions, a fully immersive Ghostbusters VR experience.
The Void wants to bring the virtual reality to a larger scale, unlike the consumer products like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, The VOID wants to build something extra-ordinary by providing large scale VR installations to amusement parks and other attractions.
The idea of fully immersive virtual reality has been a dream for decades, but it looks like that we have almost achieved it.
Ghostbusters Dimensions is being created with the partnership of SONY, and the tourists will get to explore the recreation of Ghostbuster`s HQ. Tourists can check out props, costumes and other memorable items.
Tourists can also strap on a proton pack and try being a Ghostbuster for a while in an interactive experience, which is set in a haunted apartment.
If that does not satisfy you than you can grab the Ghostbusters game, which will be published by Activision and will release on July 12 a few days before the movie`s release.
It will be a co-op game, meaning players will be able to zap ghosts with three more friends. The game will not feature the original cast, instead the game will feature four new heroes each with their own unique personality and play style that will benefit the entire team.
