Fortnite is one of the most played games of all time which is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and iOS devices. But according to a recent leak, we might be finally getting a Fortnite port for Nintendo Switch.
This leaked information comes from a document which was posted on 4chan. The document shows marketing materials for the showrooms displaying some E3 games for Nintendo Switch. Fortnite is one the games listed along with DragonBall FighterZ, FIFA 18, Paladins, and previously announced titles like Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Mario Tennis Aces, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas and some unannounced games like Overcooked 2 and Killer Queen Black.
Battle Royale mode has been a massive success on every platform except for Android and Nintendo Switch so it all makes perfect sense. The launch of the Battle Royal on Nintendo Switch will make everyone happy and it could easily sell well as most of the Nintendo Switch user base is looking for to Battle Royale.
After playing Fortnite on mobile, we have no doubts regarding the performance or gameplay of the game. Fortnite runs smoothly on iOS devices and features cross-platform play which is another feature you can expect on Nintendo Switch.
Recently we also saw mention of the Fortnite Switch port in a job listing from Iron Galaxy.
As nothing is officially confirmed, we can take all these leaks with a grain of salt. If this happens then for sure Fortnite will be the star of the show.
We will have to wait to find out whether they will release a stand-alone Battle Royale mode just like iOS or along with Save The World mode which is available on PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.
