From the roster of Fire Emblem Heroes, we are going to be discussing Mareeta, who is the Foster daughter of Eyvel freed from a curse and seeking to gain proficiency in her skill as a swordmaster. In this Fire Emblem Heroes Mareeta guide, we will be discussing the general details about the character in order to help you make better progress within the game.

Fire Emblem Heroes Mareeta

Weapons
The weapon that Mareeta chooses to primarily use are swords of various types with Mareeta’s Sword being the best out of the lot.

The following are the weapons you will be using throughout your journey.

  • Iron Sword with 6 might, 1 range, and 50 SP.
  • Steel Sword with 8 might, 1 range, and 100 SP.
  • Silver Sword with 11 might, 1 range, and 200 SP.
  • Mareeta’s Sword with 16 might, 1 range and 400 SP. (Additional bonuses being an acceleration to special trigger with cooldown count-1. If your unit is not adjacent to an ally, you will gain +4 to Attack/ Speed/ Defense/ Resistance and prevents effects that would otherwise guarantee foe’s follow-up attacks and effects that would prevent unit’s follow-up attacks whilst in combat)

Specials

  • Mareeta’s special skills are good for bringing down the enemy team’s defense and opening them up for a lot extra damage as a result.
  • New Moon with a cool-down of 3 turns that will reduce your enemy’s Defense/Resistance by 30% in combat with 100 SP.
  • Luna with a cool-down of 3 turns which will reduce your enemy’s Defense/Resistance by 50% in combat with 200 SP.

Fallen Mareeta
Fallen Mareeta is a bit of a different story compared to the normal Mareeta. With a much more badass appearance.

Fallen Mareeta has the following skills accompanying her Shadow Sword.

  • Shadow Sword
  • Reposition (Moves ally next to you to the opposite side of the unit)
  • Galeforce (Should the unit initiate combat, the unit will be granted one more action after combat, only possible once per turn)
  • Dragon Fang (Gives Atk a boost by 50%)

What build to roll with Mareeta?
Mareeta has an exceptional speed which puts her on top of the speed chart; making her the fastest character in-game.  Her Level 40 stats are as follows:

  • HP 41
  • RES 23
  • DEF 31
  • SPD 42
  • ATK 35

Mareeta is probably something that I would keep in my main team for my journey solely because of her 172 BST.

Her skills are extremely good for helping your allies deal that extra damage against the enemies.

Some of the skills we would recommend from Mareeta are:

The weapon being obviously the best one that is Mareeta’s Sword with her special ability as Luna, and her three skills being Attack/Speed Solo 3, Close Call 3 and Rouse Attack/Defense 3 respectively.

You can either choose Fallen Mareeta (Badass Art style by the way) or Regular Mareeta, the key difference between the two being the weapon.

The Fallen weapon will give you a second chance at killing the unit before it reciprocates the attack whereas Mareeta’s Sword will remove the enemy’s next attack should your stats be that good.

It should always give you a chance to counter and eliminate some of those more annoying abilities that would prevent you from doing anything significant.

Albeit she has no support abilities in her arsenal, she is still a pretty damn good pick for players starting out.

It is recommended that you teach her reposition to give her a bit more mobility around the field and increase her survivability.
