Far Cry 5 PC Benchmarks Reveal How Well The Game Is Optimized

Some people have been complaining about the optimization of the game which is a bit concerning as I did not have any issues when I played the game on my personal rig which has a dual-core i3 CPU paired with the 6 GB Nvidia GTX 1060. Having that said, here are some Far Cry 5 PC benchmarks that you can check out in order to see how your system should be running the game and whether something else is wrong or not.

My initial impressions of the game were pretty positive and you can click here to check them out. If you want a more detailed look at how the game runs on different hardware at different resolutions then check out the benchmarks. You can check out the Far Cry 5 PC benchmarks below.

If you are playing the game on PC then you can run the game at whatever resolution you want with the help of the resolution scaling slider. On console, you have the option to run the game at 4K with HDR on the PS4 Pro as well as the Xbox One X which is something worth looking into if you have either one of these consoles.

If you have been waiting for reviews before making the purchase then be sure to check out our review of Far Cry 5. Far Cry 5 Lead Writer Drew Holmes has talked about the game’s development and the following is what he had to say about the game:

Where each region is telling its own contained story but Joseph is sitting over top of it all – you have this story with him that he’s sort of dipping in-and-out and each story of the region. The way we were approaching all the missions and all the stories, everything has to be self-contained and because we don’t quite know where you’re going to be interacting with these characters at any given point, but what we did on the writing side was make sure that if any character or event that was happening in a mission, probably would have affected something that came before or after.

You gotta be sort of driving through the scenes. I think, overall, we did a pretty damn good job of making sure that no matter which way you’re going, no matter who you’re talking to, everything really feels like it’s pulled along by this rollercoaster of the game itself.

Far Cry 5 PC benchmarks reveal that the game is well optimized. I did see some stuttering issues now and then but that is a minor thing which can be fixed easily in an update.
