The duel between FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer in the video game industry is something that has became throughout the years quite an interesting topic.
It would not be an exception this year, and we are only one month away from the launch of eFootball PES 2020 and FIFA 20. In this year’s battle for the most exclusivities, it seems that Konami’s video game gets another win.
eFootball PES 2020 will have an exclusive license for the UEFA Euro 2020, the continental selection competition that will be held next summer and where the new European champion will rise the trophy.
This exclusive license will allow you to play games with the official 24 teams that will play in the tournament plus another 30 national teams. We will also be able to see in eFootball PES 2020 the presence of all the stadiums that will be used during the European Championship.
A reminder for all soccer fanatics, the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament will be played in 12 cities as diverse as London, Dublin, Bilbao, Glasgow, Rome, Budapest, Copenhagen, Baku, St. Petersburg, Munich, Amsterdam and Bucharest, from June 12 to July 12, and on these dates, the eSports version of the tournament will also be played.
UEFA eEURO 2020 is the eSports tournament that Konami will organize for this event. At the moment, they have offered no details, but it would be logical to think that it will replicate the idea of the tournament and a selection of the best PES 2020 players by country will be made and these players will represent their country in the tournament.
It is a very sweet and interesting addition that puts Konami’s game better compared to EA Sports in terms of the treatment and care that national teams receive, but it will be necessary to see if eFootball PES 2020 has made enough merits to convince the players and beat FIFA 20 this season.
