Dragon Ball FighterZ has launched for PC and current-gen consoles, however, many PC users have reported Dragon Ball FighterZ errors that are ruining their experience. Here we will discuss all the errors and issues that you are facing for the PC version of the game and will provide you with a possible workaround.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is a fighting title developed by Arc System Works for PC and consoles. Not every game is free of bugs and the PC version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is no exception. While the devs are working to resolve these issue, here are some possible solutions and workarounds for the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ Errors, Crashes And Fixes

Here we will discuss all the Dragon Ball FighterZ Errors and issues like game crashing while playing, audio bugs and buzzing sound while playing and more and will also provide you with a possible fix or workaround so that you can play the game.

Untrusted System File Error
Many of the PC players are experiencing Untrusted System File C:Windows/System32/safeips64.dll error in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Strictly speaking, this isn’t an error as this issue might be popping up because of the anti-virus which considers the file as a trojan or virus.

To resolve this issue, add the game’s folder as an exception in your anti-virus and you should be able to play the game.

Fatal Error
To resolve the fatal Dragon Ball FighterZ errors, all you have to do is press the Windows Button + R and type “%localappdata%” and hit enter. You will find a Dragon Ball FighterZ folder here, just delete it and the issue should be resolved. If you can’t see the folder, it might be hidden.

If above method doesn’t work for you, then there is another solution that might work for you. Go to the steam folder and navigate to Dragon Ball FighterZ game folder “steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL FighterZ\RED\Binaries\Win64”. Download these DirectX files and copy all of these downloaded files to Win64 folder. One of these methods should resolve the issue for you.

Memory Could Not be Read Error
This is one of the complicated Dragon Ball FighterZ errors as there could be multiple reasons for this error to pop up and following are the workarounds to resolve this issue and hopefully one of them might work for you.

The issue might be popping up because of the outdated drivers. Update the drivers through windows update and the issue should resolve.

Another solution to resolve this issue is increasing virtual memory. Right-click on “My Computer” and select properties and here click on “Advanced System Settings” and select “settings” under performance. Then again select “Advanced” tab here and you will see “change” button under Virtual Memory. Click on change and increase the virtual memory and the issue should resolve.

FPS Drops, Stuttering, Bad Performance
According to the reports, the game runs fine at a steady 60 FPS and then randomly the frame rate drops to unplayable levels. Furthermore, game’s performance varies system to system even if two systems have the same specs.

To resolve this issue make sure you are using the latest GPU drivers which bring game-specific optimizations. Also, make sure no unnecessary background process is running that is using too much hard drive. Open up task manager and terminate that background process.

Furthermore, make sure you are using the external GPU for the game instead of the internal since many systems use the external GPU when users play a game but at times the OS doesn’t shift to the external one and you have to do it manually either through your BIOS or Nvidia Control Panel, if you are using a Nvidia GPU.

Long Loading Times
Another one of the Dragon Ball FighterZ errors is the long loading times for the game. However, not many players have reported that they are facing this issue.

This issue might be related to your old hard drive. Make sure you have no process running in the background using the HDD too much as this causes the delay in loading the game.

Black Screen
One of the Dragon Ball FighterZ errors is the black screen. While the screen is black but, the sound is playing in the background. The issue could be the game setting the game’s default resolution higher than your monitor’s native resolution.

To resolve this issue press “ALT + Enter” and the game will run in the windowed mode and you will see the game running. Go to the settings and change the resolution to your native resolution and run the game in fullscreen and the issue will be resolved.

Another reason for the issue could e the outdated GPU drivers, just update the drivers to the latest version and the issue should resolve.

No Audio, Buzzing Noise, Audio Issues
Some PC players have been experiencing audio issues in some cases there is no sound at all. To resolve this issue Go to Playback Devices by right-clicking on the sound icon in the bottom left corner of the desktop.

Here you will see a list of devices, all you have to do is disable all other sound devices except for the one that you want to use and the issue should resolve and this solution might also work for those who are using integrated sound cards.

Furthermore, some are experiencing strange buzz with the game sound which makes playing the game difficult. The solution to this issue is to playback devices by right clicking the audio icon in the bottom right corner, select the audio device that is enabled, for most it will be “Speakers”, and open properties. Select “Advanced” and set the audio quality.

Missing “.dll” Files
This issue is common in Windows 7, however, if you are facing this issue in later versions of Windows, just update your Windows and the registry will be updated along with the “.dll” files.

You can also try to manually download the missing “.dll” file from the internet and placing it in the game folder, however, we do not recommend doing this.

If you are facing this issue on Windows 7, the issue is due to the lack of the updated OS or Visual C++ Redistributable not being up-to-date. All you have to do is update your OS and the issue will be resolved and if the OS is updated and the issue persists then just install the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 which will automatically update the file or will put it in your system if it is missing.
