Two-handed abilities are going to make their way back into the series with Dragon Age: Inquisition and BioWare today has revealed three of them.

Earthshaking Strike
Your Great Blow tears open the ground with a shockwave that batters enemies caught in its path.

Mighty Blow
You deliver a powerful attack that crumples foes, leaving them knocked down for a short time.

Whirlwind
You spin with your weapon outstretched, cutting through any enemies in your path.

Two-handed abilities have been part of the Dragon Age franchise since the first title. Except for Earthshaking Strike, Mighty Blow and Whirlwind originated in Dragon Age: Origins and were seen as essential skills for the fighter class.

After today’s reveal, BioWare is now expected to touch upon the other fighting abilities featured in the game such as ranged fighters.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on November 18, 2014. The game is expected to redeem the developer for its atrocious work with Dragon Age 2 which left more than a bad taste in our mouths.

If anything, I’m more excited about experiencing Skyhold, the home base for everyone in the game. It’s said to be a large scale castle and is completely customizable. You can practically build it as your very own fort.
