DOTA 2 Update Fixes Recording Delay, Shadow Shaman Animations and More

DOTA 2 Update is now available to download and fixes a number of issues including Shadow Shaman animations, server delay and more.

There is a new DOTA 2 update in town so prepare for fixes and improvements to the game. It is a minor one but makes some much needed fixes such as delayed recording due to an issue with the server, Shadow Shaman’s animations during Ward are now fixed and same treatment was provided to Venomancer.

  • Fixed a server problem which occasionally delayed recording match results and quest completion.
  • Fixed animations on Shadow Shaman’s and Venomancer’s wards.
  • Fixed a rare case where Winter Wyvern would not get kill credit with Winter’s Curse.
  • The Clearcut Challenger Helper is rate limited to reasonable human values on the server and always has been. Excessive scripting does not contribute to the overall total.

Just log into the game via Steam client and the game will update itself.

On a related note, TI6 is around the corner and its compendium is now live. It generated almost $4 million in the first 24 hours.

Each year, Dota 2 fans the world over join together to raise the largest prize pool in all of esports. This time, if the pool surpasses last year’s total of $18,429,613, every Battle Pass owner will be granted three ‘Trust of the Benefactor’ treasure rewards.
