A new Devil May Cry 5 mod has arrived that replaces character V’s costume with The Force Awakens Kylo Ren’s costume but without the robe. In addition to this, the mod also replaces V’s cane with Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber.

Players can download the mod created by Nxus64 from NexusMods. This mod was pretty much needed because from the beginning, players thought of V as Kylo Ren actor from Star Wars due to the similarities. However, that was nothing but a coincidence according to Itsuno.
Here’s what DMC 5 creator Hideaki Itsuno said about Ren’s similarity with V:
When we started making the game, the new characters were the ones we started to work on – so Nico, V – we came up with those designs early on. And we went to see Star Wars and saw Kylo Ren and we were like ‘oh man, he looks just like him!’ If you ever come to Osaka we’ll show you the designs, how we’ve made them, what order, when that was and prove there’s nothing to do with Kylo Ren.
With that said, Star Wars fans can finally get to play with Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber in DMC 5. The modding community continues to surprise us even after months of the game’s release. Do note that these DMC 5 mods are exclusive to PC only and will not work with Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any more DLCs for the game as confirmed by Capcom. It means that the rumored Devil May Cry 5 Vergil DLC is not in works. So if you want to get more out of the game, you should be looking at cool mods like these.
Since we are speaking of DLCs, Capcom surprised all the fans in May 2019 by releasing a free Devil May Cry 5 DLC called Monkey Business. This free DLC allows everyone to use Devil Breaker “Monkey Business”, which was previously available as an exclusive bonus with the game in Japan.
The new and free Devil Breaker is really fun to use and to look at as it’s all covered with a bunch of bananas. However, this new Devil Breaker is not usable within the Bloody Palace mode, which also arrived as a DLC.
Devil May Cry V is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game turned out to be a huge success for Capcom and exceeded their expectations. With that known, we can assume that new Devil May Cry game or Devil May Cry 6 will arrive sooner than before.
It’s possible that we will receive Devil May Cry 6 on next-generation consoles like Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Scarlett. Until then, try out the new Devil May Cry 5 Kylo Ren mod on PC.
