Paradox Amplifiers are one of the key ingredients that is required if you want to forge weapons related to the new Curse of Osiris expansion in Destiny 2. Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Paradox Amplifier Farming
As you will know by now, Paradox Amplifiers go along with the Radiolarian cultures and are used to forge weapons in the Lighthouse on Mercury.
The prerequisites for trying to acquire both of them is the same, so we recommend that you check out our Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris Concentrated Radiolarian Culture Farming Guide so that you do not start farming for these amplifiers without having any use for them in the game at the moment.
Farming these amplifiers is incredibly simple and straightforward. Strikes and heroic adventures on mercury are perfect for gaining the Paradox Amplifiers.
Apart from this, you can do matches in the crucible to farm them too. Just make sure you do not waste your time with heroic adventures for farming since that is by far the slowest and the most inefficient method.
The best way to build them up is to collect ten and then make an advanced paradox amplifier. Try to spend time in the crucible, it will not matter if you win, lose or draw as you will be rewarded with the amplifiers quite a lot.
Occasionally, you will get two of them at the same time. However, do remember that this is still a tedious process with a lot of grinding, but the Crucible will make things easier.
As for the specifics, try to complete at least three Heroic Strikes as you will also net a Powerful Engram while you are completing them. After this, it is best to attempt Crucible matches. If you are looking for some Lighthouse armor and weapons, then make sure you also occasionally farm the Heroic Mercury Adventures as you will also require the Mercury Tokens.
Forging Weapons
You need to turn in Advanced Paradox Amplifiers in order to unlock eight Lost Prophecies. Following is the list of these eight Lost Prophecies and then we will discuss what you need in order to get items:
- Future Safe 10, Legendary Sword
- Infinite Paths 8, Legendary Pulse Rifle
- Jack Queen King 3, Legendary Hand Cannon
- Null Calamity 9, Legendary Auto Rifle
- Sol Pariah 6, Legendary SMG
- The Conqueror 2, Legendary SMG
- Traveler’s Judgement, Legendary Sidearm
- West Sunfall 7, Legendary Hand Cannon
You need two Advanced Paradox amplifiers for crafting each of the Lost Prophecy Weapons, so in total you need 16 of these.
It would require a lot of work to get 16 Advanced Paradox Amplifiers and for those you will have to spend a lot of time doing Strikes, crucible matches and heroic adventures so that all the materials for these Lost prophecies are complete.
