Dead by Daylight: Nightmare Edition Rated by ESRB

The ESRB rating for a Dead by Daylight: Nightmare Edition has been revealed. This edition will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

A new edition for Dead By Daylight has just received its rating by ESRB, confirming that the game will once more be for a mature audience. The Dead by Daylight: Nightmare Edition will be available for Windows PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Taking its name into account, the Nightmare Edition must have something to do with the newly released Nightmare Rework. In it, we find a complete change to Freddy Crugger’s gameplay, along with general changes to the game itself. Now that a Nightmare Edition is in the works, we are baffled as to what it might include.

Officially, Behaviour Interactive has nothing to announce. However, it’s frequent for ESRB to reveal new editions or new DLC by unveiling its rating. The rating itself is Mature (17+), which seems completely understandable. Dead by Daylight includes heavy depiction of blood and gore, strong language and intense violence.

The ESRB rating for the Dead by Daylight: Nightmare Edition goes on by giving us a small description of the game. As far as we know, there’s nothing out of the ordinary with the summary. No insight on what a Nightmare Edition might be and no details. However, there could be a reason behind such an edition.

Dead by Daylight has become a fan-favorite when it comes to horror games to play with friends. With Halloween coming soon, it could make sense for Behaviour to release a new edition, including a new character or content appropriate for the festivities.

In further Dead by Daylight news, the Stranger Things expansion is now available. You will be getting a new monster in the form of the Demogorgon, one of the many sinister and vicious creatures from the dark parallel universe known as the Upside-Down along with Nancy and Steve as characters.
