Days Gone New Screenshots Give Us a Good Look at Fully-Explorable Environment and Dynamic Visuals

Sony Interactive Entertainment has release a handful of new Days Gone screenshots, giving us a good look at protagonist, enemies, and world.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a fistful of 1080p screenshots of the upcoming open-world action game Days Gone.

The new screenshots – that can be seen in the gallery attached below – gives us a good look at the game’s protagonist Deacon St. John, the game’s post-apocalyptic setting, and the horrors that you will face when the game launches.

According to Sony, Days Gone features fully explorable open-world, allowing players to explore, strategize, and approach the game as they see fit. The game basically revolves around Deacon St. John, a drifter living in Pacific Northwest and trying to survive using his skills that he learned before the world came to an end.

Being developed using Unreal Engine 4, Days Gone aims to deliver a realistic open-world experience with realistic weather effects such as rain, wind, snow, and day-night cycle which will impact the gameplay.

While fans are comparing it to be a clone of Sons of Anarchy meets The Walking Dead, we think Days Gone is Sony’s attempt at creating something to rival Microsoft’s Dead Rising 4. The game is still early in development and remains without a release date. Hopefully, Sony will provide more details during GamesCom 2016.
