Death Stranding is a game shrouded in mystery. However, actors and voice actors attached to the game are adding fuel to the fire. This time around, David Hayter, the original voice actor for Snake in Metal Gear Solid, has teased his return in upcoming Death Stranding.
The hint that David Hayter might be joining Death Stranding comes from his own Twitter account. Kaz Miller voice actor, Robin Atkin Downes, Tweeted that he has a mission for snake and Hayter replied with a Tweet, Message received.
Robin Atkin Downes previously Tweeted the artwork of Death Stranding with a caption “@Kojima_Hideo What was it all for…? If the Boss has some plan, what is it?”. Hinting that he is joining Hideo Kojima in Death Stranding for an unspecified role.
Now with this latest Tweet, both Atkin and David Hayter have hinted that they are joining Hideo Kojima for Death Stranding. Which is surprising since it is no secret that Kojima wanted to get rid of Hayter.
However, given that both of the Tweets are cryptic take with a grain of salt. However, it will be interesting to see both voice actors from Metal Gear Solid Series to reunite in Death Stranding. There is also a possibility that both voice actors might be just playing with us.
For those who don’t know, David Hayter is the voice of Solid Snake and Big Boss. He has lent his voice in Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Solid 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
Speaking of Death Stranding, we don’t know much about the game despite a few trailers already out for it. But according to Norman Reedus, the game’s concept is mind-blowing. He added that the game is way ahead of its time which happens to feature some social media elements too.
Also, these are not the only actors from Metal Gear Solid series to return in Death Stranding. Stefanie Joosten is returning as fans have spot her in the recent Death Stranding trailer.
Death Stranding is an action game in development at Kojima Productions for PS4. No release date is announced for the game.
