Cyberpunk 2077 Single-Player Perspective Won’t Change

The developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red declare their stance on the backlash faced for the single-player perspective of the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 got a head start by an in-depth gameplay footage revealed earlier. However, many still seem to have doubts about the perspective of Cyberpunk 2077, first person. The feedback received by developers, CD Projekt RED was acknowledged in an interview at the Gamescom 2018.

The single-player perspective of Cyberpunk 2077 has not been received well by several followers of the game. DualShockers put forward the question of how CD Projekt RED wishes to deal with such negative feedback. Quest Designer, Patrick Mills was the interviewee who established that the developers will stick with their decision to use the single-player perspective for Cyberpunk 2077.

Mills clearly mentioned that the game going to remain a single-player perspective game despite all the confrontation by some people of the gaming community:

We are firm in that decision. However, we’re very aware that a lot of people don’t like first-person, and there is a small number of people who can’t play first-person for a variety of reasons.

This goes on to show that CD Projekt RED is keeping a broad range of customers in mind while developing Cyberpunk 2077. Nonetheless, even if the game is not being changed altogether due to some people, developers are not going to straight up ignore this group of customers.

For facilitation of such gamers who struggle with single-player experiences, Cyberpunk 2077 is planning on providing difficulty and sensibility settings to assist their gaming experiences. This is expected to please both types of users so they can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 as effortlessly as possible.

However, if we look at the time left in release for the game (a year or so), there is still a lot of work to do for the developers of Cyberpunk 2077.

But the hard work is paying off, Cyberpunk 2077 managed to portray the future of advertising through a section of its gameplay demo.

The gameplay demo in question was seen by half a million people on Twitch.  The stream gathered almost half a million viewers on Twitch. Moreover, the game is going to be offering optimization for PC. But the demo we saw was running on a GTX 1080Ti.

The launch date is yet to be announced for Cyberpunk 2077. Although, the game will be readily available on Amazon for pre-orders. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms are going to be running the upcoming RPG.
