Cyberpunk 2077 Marketing Will Be Starting This Year

Cyberpunk 2077 marketing will be starting to come out this year, and we'll likely see it at E3 2018 as well, so hopefully we'll be getting a trailer and release date soon.

At long last, Cyberpunk 2077 marketing is going to be starting this year, meaning that we’ll very likely be seeing trailers and whatnot leading up to the game’s release. Cyberpunk 2077 is the next upcoming game from CD Projekt RED, the same studio behind the Witcher games that were so popular.

The game has only ever gotten one trailer, when it was announced, which gave us at least some sort of rough idea of what to expect from it (along with a stupid amount of controversy over nothing). However, since then we haven’t gotten any sort of trailer or anything about it, just a number of small tidbits of information.

Cyberpunk 2077 is based off of the tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, and takes place, of course, 57 years after the timeframe of that game. A virus has begun afflicting artificial humans in the setting, causing them to go nuts and slaughter people around them.

At least, that’s what we think the plot is. So far there’s nothing to guarantee that that’s anything about the plot. Hopefully, with the start of Cyberpunk 2077 marketing, we’ll be learning more about the game’s setting, its gameplay, its plot, and other important stuff like that.

However, we still don’t really have any sort of idea about when we’ll be getting any sort of trailer. We don’t even have a confirmed release date for the game, but it’s likely that we’ll probably be getting both at this year’s E3, which is around a month and a half away in mid-June. Hopefully around that time, CD Projekt RED will not only have a trailer and release date for us, but some gameplay as well.

Either way, we’ll probably be getting a lot more information about Cyberpunk 2077 in the future, so if you’re interested in CD Projekt RED’s first new IP in over a decade, be on the lookout for some Cyberpunk 2077 marketing in the future.
