Cyberpunk 2077 may feature more Hollywood actors in the game, according to a recent comment by CD Projekt Red spokesperson and UI coordinator Alvin Liu.
In a recent interview with VGC, Alvin Liu was asked if Keanu Reeves is the only Hollywood actor in Cyberpunk 2077 or not. Liu replied by saying, “Uh … I can not comment on that, you’ll have to wait and see.” It’s the reply that sounds like a tease and makes us somewhat believe that we will see more known faces in the sci-fi game.
Afterward, Liu was asked about the appearance of Hollywood actors in the video game. Liu confirmed that the studio will not hire actors until they fit the game.
Here’s what he said:
I will say that CDPR is a video game company first and it’s very important to us that the match works. If it was a random celebrity that just wouldn’t work with our franchise, like Britney Spears or something, we wouldn’t pursue that opportunity. So for us, we pursue it because it’s a great match for the game and not necessarily because we want to accomplish some goal with reaching a different audience or anything like that.
According to the previous reports, Lady Gaga is one of the actors appearing in Cyberpunk 2077. Lady Gaga was spotted at CD Projekt’s offices in Warsaw. In addition this, the studio also interacted with Lady Gaga on Twitter in 2018 further fuelling the speculation.

Of course, CD Projekt is hiding something and it does make sense because they want to surprise the fans. All that’s left for us to know is when the studio will reveal another Hollywood actor for Cyberpunk 2077. Will they reveal it this year or when the game releases? We will have to wait to find out.
There’s no doubt that Keanu Reeves is the best actor that CD Projekt could ever hire. One of the main highlights of E3 2019 was the confirmation of Keanu Reeves aka John Wick in Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to release on April 16, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Players can now pre-order the game from Sony PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. Different Editions of Cyberpunk 2077 include Cyberpunk 2077 Special Edition, Standard Edition, and Collector’s Edition.
As for the question will Cyberpunk 2077 have multiplayer? The answer is maybe according to the game’s Lead Quest Designer Paweł Sasko. There is a lot of hype associated with the game and naturally, CD Projekt Red is feeling the pressure to fulfill expectations.
