Crash Bandicoot In Skylanders Might be Coming

A possible figurine of Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders may be coming, according to a listing from a Singapore retailer called Qisahn.

If it weren’t enough that Crash Bandicoot got a shout-out in Naughty Dog’s most recent game Uncharted 4, now there’s a rumor floating around that there will be a figurine for Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders. The figurine, if the rumors are true, would only be available on the Playstation 4 version of the game.

The news came from a Singapore retailer known as Qisahn, which had a listing up for a “Crash” edition Skylanders Imaginators Starter pack. The possibility of Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders has been a rumor for a long time, but the rumor started to pick up speed after it was revealed that Activision still had the rights to Crash Bandicoot.

Skylanders is out on pretty much every single platform, so having Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders only on the Playstation 4 would definitely be something that would draw attention (then again it could work considering that Crash Bandicoot is a historically Playstation character).

If the rumors about Crash Bandicoot being in Skylanders is true, Crash would only be the most recent Playstation video game character that is in the game. Skylanders started out with being the “continuation” of the Spyro the Dragon series, which were exclusively on Playstation consoles.

Other characters that have been in Skylanders include Donkey Kong and Bowser, so Crash Bandicoot would be nothing new. However, the lack of a more notable retailer leaking it does cast some doubt on the possibility of Crash Bandicoot in Skylanders. If Crash is in Skylanders, however, we will most likely hear about it somewhere at E3 (as Skylanders has had at least some form of announcement at E3 ever since it came out).

Whether Crash Bandicoot is in Skylanders or not we’ll most likely find out next week at E3, so until that time we’ll just have to wait and see whether Qisahn’s listing is accurate.
