At last, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is announced by Activision as a main addition to the franchise this year. All rumors are true, its logo follows the same.

At last, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is announced by Activision as a main addition to the franchise this year. All rumors are true, its logo follows the same pattern as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 it’s in development by Treyarch with the only thing remaining to be seen is its setting. There will be 3 editions of the game, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC so, unfortunately, no Call of Duty for Nintendo Switch users yet.

According to its official teaser, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 or better Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII, will be nothing like you’ve seen in its predecessors, though more information about its content is not revealed. The teaser shows several scenes from previous Black Ops games, including some cool zombies and of course, its release date. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on October 12th, with a community event set for May 17th.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been teased once more, earlier today, with Twiter account “TheGamingRevolution” saying that the guy who leaked the COD Black Ops 3 Snowblind event has said that there are some big things coming our way. Furthermore, GameStop has already listed Black Ops 4 merchandise in its system.

As for its release, Amazon has already listed the game on the platform with 3 basic editions on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Sadly, FPS players will have to stick with DOOM on Nintendo Switch since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won’t be going that way, at least for now.

This is another chance for Activision to redeem itself after the low sales of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The ground has been set with Call of Duty: WW2 being in the charts since its release and bringing some stability to the loss its previous title caused. What we know is that the Black Ops trilogy has been more than successful for the company with the fourth installment raising ambition to the maximum.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th. Don’t forget that a community event set for May 17th.
