Bungie Wants to Improve Communication With the Community to Fix Destiny 2

Destiny 2 players are currently showing concerns over the lack of transparency by Bungie. Bungie removed the XP timer but it affected the game’s leveling system. Bungie took a while to address the problem properly which created a slight backlash from the community.

However, moving forward, communication is what Bungie hopes to improve. According to the developer, they are going to better communicate with the player. Changes and improvements to the game will be based on feedback from the Guardians.

Our team has been reading feedback and working on updates to improve the game. We’ve also been reading some tough criticism about our lack of communication, and we agree we need to be more open. We know it’s frustrating when there isn’t enough of a dialog with the development team. You have our commitment that we’re going to do a better job going forward

Bungie explained what happened with the XP system and how it regrets not being open to the players. At the moment, hardcore Destiny players do not have a reason to log in and Bungie understands that. In fact, they are aware that people assume that the developers are greedy and shady. But that is not the case, Bungie says.

That’s why more clarity is needed and communication needs to be a priority. Bungie is already making efforts to make sure they improve communication. The developer canceled a recent Curse of Osiris live stream to address community concerns.

Destiny 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
