Bully 2 is a Cross-Gen Title and Will Release in 2020, New Details Leaked

According to new leak, Rockstar's Bully 2 is in development as a cross-gen title and it will release in October or November 2020.

Bully 2 is being developed as a cross-gen title, according to a new rumor. The rumor originates from a Bully’s dedicated channel on Youtube called SWETGA. The Youtuber claims that he received information related to Bully 2 from an insider at Rockstar Games.

In short, the rumor tells that Bully 2 will release on next-gen consoles like Xbox Scarlett, PlayStation 5 and as well as on current-generation platforms PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It appears that Rockstar is going to repeat what they did with GTA V. And The Youtuber says that the motive for releasing the game as a cross-gen title is purely financial, just like with GTA V on the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

According to the new Bully 2 leak, the game will release in October or November 2020. Here’s what the leaker said:

The way they (Rockstar) are going about this has completely changed. As it stands they are aiming to release their next game during the holiday season in 2020 (most likely October or November.), SWEGTA quoted his source.

With that said, SWEGTA is confident that his source is reliable. However, it’s better to wait for an official announcement by Rockstar on Bully 2. Do keep in mind that this is not the first rumor about Bully sequel. Previously it was rumored that Bully sequel will be announced at E3 2019 but unfortunately that didn’t happen.

Overall, there’s no doubt that Rockstar will try to release Bully 2 as a cross-gen game to accomplish success like Grand Theft Auto 5. Moreover, Rockstar has 9 subsidiary studios so it’s possible for the developer and publisher to release another massive game right after Red Dead Redemption 2.

Furthermore, it’s possible that Bully 2 will be announced during the official reveal of Sony’s PlayStation 5 or Microsoft’s Xbox Scarlett. The next game in Rockstar’s Bully franchise can also turn out to be a launch title for next-generation consoles. For now, we can do nothing but wait. And we will make sure to let you know first whenever the game is announced.

For those who don’t know, Bully released back in 2006 and dedicated fans haven’t forgotten about the title yet. If the leak turns out to be true, there will be a 14-year gap in the release of Bully and Bully 2.
