Black Ops 3 Gets 98% Ranking From Nielsen, Becomes Most Anticipated Game of the Year

According to a new report, Black Ops 3 is now the most anticipated multi platform game of 2016. Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed are at second place.

According to a new report from Nielsen, an American global information and measurement company, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the most anticipated multi-plat game of the year.

Treyarch’s next installment in the Black Ops series will release on November 6 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Black Ops 3 came in first with a 98% ranking, beating both AC: Syndicate and Fallout with a slight margin of only 3%.

Activision’s shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III tops this year’s multi-platform list, with a ranking of 98%, adding to the publisher’s popular Call of Duty series. Bethesda’s Fallout 4, the long-awaited follow-up in its hit post-apocalyptic RPG franchise, and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, this year’s offering from Ubisoft’s stalwart action/adventure series, both come in close behind at 95%.

Every year, fans complain about how Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed games are repetitive, with no sign of innovation and freshness. However, each year these games sell more units compared to previous year. From the looks of it, same will be the case this year with Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed.

But, they will see solid competition from Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 is slated for November 10, while Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will hit shelves on October 23. Is Back Ops 3 the most anticipated game of the year for you?
