Dishonored 2 launched today, but those who pre-ordered the game got to play it a day earlier. While the reviews are still to come, players have reported issues with the PC version of Dishonored 2 like stuttering, frame rate drops and more.

However, Bethesda has come forward and gave a quick fix for the performance issues of the game. According to Bethesda, players with PCs that meet recommended specs should play the game on high settings instead of Ultra.
If your PC meets the Recommended Specs we encourage you to play with High settings for a more consistent 60fps experience. Only PCs that far exceed those Recommended Specs should opt for Ultra settings.
This raises a question that if recommended specs are for the high settings only, then why Arkane Studios did not reveal any specs for the Ultra settings? There is a possibility that Ultra settings in the game could be the 4K presets, and only those systems can use them whose specs are suited for the task.
Whatever may be the case it seems that players with recommended specs will have to compromise on the graphical settings and play the game on high preset.
As the game has launched, many of the fans would be speculating that after the DLC for the game is done, Arkane Studios will move on to develop Dishonored 3. But according to Harvey Smith, co-creative director of Arkane Studios, the idea for the sequel involving Emily changed his perception, but as for the Dishonored 3, he is quite unsure of it.
Similarly, Bethesda has also clarified that they do not take a project as a franchise and focus on one thing at a time. The company also said that Dishonored 3 is irrelevant at this time.
Dishonored 2 is a stealth action game developed by Arkane Studios for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
