Assassin’s Creed: Origins Guide to Unlocking the Unicorn Mount

Assassin's Creed: Origins features different mythological creatures, or at least it will once the post-release single-player content gets released.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins features different mythological creatures, or at least it will once the post-release single-player content gets released in the coming months. The fabled Unicorn is one of them but in contrast is available for players as an accessible mount from the very beginning.

The most easiest method to obtain it is to simply purchase it with Helix Credits. Those who bought the special editions of Assassin’s Creed: Origins that come with the season pass will find themselves with 500 Helix Credits as soon as they start the game. This amount is exactly what you need.

Simply head to the store from the main menu and either click on “upgrade your mount” or cycle through to the “gear” tab. Select the Unicorn from the available options and purchase it for 500 Helix Credits.

Now open up your gear menu and head into available mounts. You will find the Unicorn option inside. Select it, exit the menu, and summon the “fabulous” creature for your riding needs.

Assuming that you made the purchase before starting the game, you will have to complete the mandatory fifteen minutes or so of the opening chapter before being able to call in the mount.

If you do not have enough Helix Credits then you can buy them with real-world money from the store. However, it is important to note that everything purchasable in Assassin’s Creed: Origins can be found in the game for free. You just need to know where to look.

We will update this guide at a later date to reveal where to get the Unicorn mount for free in order to save your precious Helix Credits.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
