Assassin’s Creed: Origins aka Assassin’s Creed: Empire could have fallen victim to its first major leak. An image has surfaced online, claiming to be from this year’s Assasin’s Creed title. Now, keep in mind that Ubisoft is yet to confirm anything of sorts nor the company has made the game official, so take this with a giant grain of salt.
Having said that, the image you see below looks pretty legit and confirms the Egyptian setting for this year’s Assassin’s title, rumored to be dubbed as Assassin’s Creed: Origins or Empire. The image shows the lead character hauling a boat. The draw distance is pretty impressive and indicates that the map would be huge for Origins/Empire.
The map for this game is rumored to be three times the size of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Considering the scale of the map (if true), we can very well expect it to blow us away, given all sorts of mission and activities we can expect from the game of that size.
Moreover, there are rumored to be two playable characters in Assassin’s Creed: Origins. similar to Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. The main characters will be played by a male and a female, again similar to Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate where we played as Evie and Jacob Frye. The main storyline, on the other hand, follows the original Assassin’s guild and we may be playing as an ancestor to Altair
Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press event is dated; the company will take the stage on Monday, June 12 at the same time as last year. Assassin’s Creed: Origins will release on consoles and PC. A PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio version is also expected.
