Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Interaction System Has a Flaw

Assassin's Creed Odyssey interaction system has a flaw that may end up creating issues for you in various gameplay situations.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is just a few days away from its launch worldwide. Some lucky people with early access to the game have already played it and few of them were having a hard time adapting to new controls which resulted in assassinating a person instead of interacting.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey looks beautiful and reviews are positive, though someone at USGamer didn’t like the way controls worked in the game and shared his confusion. In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Triangle or Y button depending on your platform has two main functions. You can either press it to interact with various aspects of the game, loot people, talking to different characters but interestingly, on the other hand, this button also works to assassinate.

Now, this might not seem like a problem at first but it really is. Now if you are wandering around in the game while looting people and suddenly if you come closer to a guard, it will result in a brutal assassination and will attract everyone towards you.

So be careful next time when you play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as it’s going to be hard to differentiate between a moment when you want to interact or assassinate.

As for the game, it’s been receiving mixed reviews. According to The Verge, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a great game but it doesn’t feel Assassin’s Creed and it’s not unique anymore.

In other news, you can climb up onto Zeus’ Penis in the game and trust me it’s not one of the best places to climb on in Assassin’s Creed series.

As for the gameplay, it’s been revealed that Odyssey features a story length of up to 41 hours and will take you longer if you want to complete it 100%. Senior Producer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Marc Alexis-Cote also revealed in a recent interview that Odyssey takes its inspiration from Nintendo Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey trophy list has also been revealed, which you might want to take a look at before the game releases worldwide on October 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
