October Xbox Games With Gold Revealed, Good Mix Of Genres All For Free

The time has come again for Microsoft to announce the October Xbox Games With Gold, the four various games that players with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions will be able to download and play for free. Players will be able to download a variety of different games from all sorts of genres.

The games include Tembo the Badass Elephant, Friday the 13th: The Game, Disney’s Bolt, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. With all of these coming out throughout the month, you can do any genre from comedic to horrific to fast-paced and bloody, and even play a kid’s game if you want to lighten the mood a bit.

Now, to the October Xbox Games With Gold themselves. Tembo the Badass Elephant is first up, and is a sidescrolling platform game starring the eponymous elephant, who must bash his way through obstacles as he fights to free Shell City from the evil organization known as “Phantom.” Tembo will be available the entirety of October.

Next is Friday the 13: The Game, a Dead By Daylight-esque game where players take on the roles of both Jason Voorhees and campers of Camp Crystal Lake as they attempt to stay alive long enough to escape while Jason tries to hunt them down before that happens. That game will be available from October 16 to November 15.

Third is the licensed Bolt game, based on the 2008 Disney film about an action star dog that believes he has superpowers in the real world. While it may not be as intense or gory as the other games available, it would still be a good game for a younger gamer to play, or if you just want to relax with an easy game. Bolt will be available from October 1 to October 15.

The last of the October Xbox Games With Gold games is Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, which once again puts us in the sandals of Ryu Hyabusa as he slaughters demons in the bloodiest ways possible. If you’re looking for a good character action game on the heels of something like Astral Chain, this may be the game for you. Ninja Gaiden will be available from October 16 to October 31.

If you want to pick up any of these games for yourself, you can look on the Xbox Store during their availability dates to download them for free, if you have an Xbox Live Gold membership.
