The Legend of Zelda consists of a very interesting and easy fishing minigame: Link’s Awakening in Mabe Village. Given below are the fishing tips, how to fish along with receiving fishing rewards in Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
Zelda: Link’s Awakening Fishing
Proceed to the north of Mabe Village and go towards a small pond where you will see a shack (a primitive shelter or hut) nearby.
The pond contains different types of fish which are available for you to catch, there you’ll encounter a man who will tell you all the details on how to fish. Given below are the tips:
After starting the game, the first thing you should do is throw the line by holding A, you can cast even further by holding A for a longer time.
Now, the lure will sink when it’s underwater. To aware the fish about your presence, simply wiggle the lure by moving the L-stick. Once the fish is trapped, quickly tap A to reel in the line.
The most important tip is to lure to the left of the fish, this way you’ll have more attempts. Wiggle when the lure is in front of the fish also wiggles moderately.
A solid chomp is required for you to reel it in. Keep in mind that the fish can break the line if you continue tapping A when it is looking in the opposite direction from the link.
You’ll receive a Piece of Heart after catching a fish, the size of the fish doesn’t matter. After catching the Lunkers, you’ll receive another Piece of Heart. Lunkers are large green fish.
You receive a middleweight lure after catching your first large fish. This lure can help you reach the bottom to catch a Fairy Bottle, hidden slightly by grass.
If you see any other fish in the grass, simple reel it in and release it so it doesn’t come near the bottle. Ignore the fish in the pond and rapidly reel the bottle by hooking it.
These were the basic tips for fishing and receiving rewards in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.
