Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Is Quite Breathtaking

Panache Digital Games and Private Division today released the second video from the Experiences series, titled ‘The Climber’. Here the creative director and the man who invented the Assassin’s Creed series, Patrice Désilets, explores the concept of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey with numerous experts from fields beyond the gaming world.

Each video features a recognized specialist in anthropology and paleontology and survivors in the wild, with scientists, athletes, and creative minds sharing their own experiences and comparing them to what you will find within the gaming experience of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey.

In the second episode, The Climber, Patrice Désilets meets professional Canadian climber and hopeful Olympics 2020 contender, Alannah Yip, during one of her training sessions to see how we still use the same motor skills and instincts as our prehistoric Ancestors used to overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.

In this video, you will see that Alannah and Patrice discuss how both our hominid ancestors and modern-day humans push themselves to their physical boundaries in order to constantly change and become more durable. When Alannah visited the Panache studios, she gets to feel the excitement of climbing, swinging, and traveling Neogene Africa, giving her a whole new outlook on climbing and video games.

A new Experiences video will be released by Panache Digital Games and Private Division every three weeks, so we are extremely excited to see what Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has to offer us.

We recall that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be released on August 27, 2019, for the PC users via the Epic Games Store, and in December 2019 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
