Cyberpunk 2077 New Game Plus Mode Will Be Featured In The Game

A Cyberpunk 2077 new game plus mode will be featuring in the game, though we don't know when it will be added and what it will allow.

One of the best things you can think of for an open-world RPG is the addition of a new-game plus mode. CD Projekt RED has confirmed that a Cyberpunk 2077 new game plus mode will be available in the game, letting you take all your items and levels back with you.

There are a large number of various RPG titles that have new-game plus modes, allowing you to chew through enemies and easily bypass skill checks with the levels and skills that you’ve accumulated across the entire game, making the game a more fun experience.

Considering everything that you’re going to be able to get access to in Cyberpunk 2077, with all of the gadgets, augmentations, and levels and weapons you’ll be grabbing, being able to go through a second playthrough where you can right any wrong you want (or just do anything you like) could be quite cathartic.

While we don’t know when the Cyberpunk 2077 new game plus mode will be added to the game (it could either come out as part of the release, or sent out later as a free update), it’s still something they haven’t really done before in most of their games.

While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt did have a new game plus mode, it was released when the game launched as one of the 16 different pieces of free DLC, rather than being included with the game from the start. Cyberpunk’s own mode may have a similar release.

Since the news about the mode only was just released today, it’s unlikely that we’ll be getting much more information on it for a good while. This includes information about how the mode will actually work, what we’ll be able to take back into the game, and who knows what else.

Regardless of when the Cyberpunk 2077 new game plus mode will be added to the game, we at least do know that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting released on April 16 of 2020 on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
