The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project Takes The PC Experience To The Next-Level

A new mod for the game, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, is here that reworks a lot of graphical elements and makes it an even better PC game.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is one of the best RPGs of this console-generation and also one of the best looking games. The PC version of the game is already way ahead of the console versions in terms visuals but it isn’t enough for modders.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project brings over 1000 reworked textures and over 250 improved and reworked character models.

However, the mod doesn’t mess with the game’s artistic design, as it only enhances the texture resolution and adds a bit more detail to them. You can check the full extent of the changes in the video below.

Fans know that The Witcher series started as books and eventually CD Projekt Red made it into a video game. But, these aren’t the only mediums the series will be available as a live-action Witcher series is in the works.

The live-action Witcher series from Netflix will arrive later this year. However, Netflix is so impressed with the series that it has green-lit the Witcher series for season 3 and season 1 isn’t even out yet.

This indicates the trust Netflix has in the live-action Witcher series. This level of trust could be due to the author of the Witcher himself, Andrzej Sapkowski, working with Netflix for the live-action series. It remains to be seen if the Witcher season 1 is as good as Netflix is hoping it to be.

Following The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, developer CD Projekt Red started working on Cyberpunk 2077. Needless to say, it’s one of the most hyped games of this generation, even surpassing The Witcher 3.

Not only that, Cyberpunk 2077 is looking to be the best-looking game of this console generation. But the studio isn’t stomping on consoles and low-end PCs to achieve that.

The developers have assured that the custom RED Engine is flexible enough that Cyberpunk 2077 will look amazing on low-end PCs.

We have a very custom engine, the RED Engine. And actually, we’re targeting consoles as first-class platforms and it looks amazing there. So obviously, if you spent, you know, $2,000 building your PC rig, it’s going to look better on that. But the graphics are quite amazing for what you’re going to get from Cyberpunk 2077 on consoles and low-end PCs.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action RPG in development at CD Projekt Red. The game is scheduled to launch on April 16, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
