The Avengers Project is one of the most anticipated games to be in works at Crystal Dynamics. Since the reveal last year, we haven’t heard much about the game but it looks like that we might be closer to a reveal as Crystal Dynamic’s website recently got updated.
One of the reasons to be excited about is the hardworking team working on the project which involves the people who worked on Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Eidos Montreal (Deus Ex: Mankind Divided).
Crystal Dynamics posted a detailed message revealing how they are working on The Avengers video game.

This newly established partnership pairs the creative minds at Marvel and Square Enix for one of the most powerful alliances in interactive entertainment. The first blockbuster game is being crafted by Crystal Dynamics®, developers of the award winning TOMB RAIDER® series, in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal, the home of the critically acclaimed and award-winning DEUS EX game series.
The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise. Featuring a completely original story, it will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come.
Now if you read the message, there’s nothing that we didn’t know already. So we now believe for sure that something is going to happen very soon which is why this announcement was made. It looks like Crystal Dynamics is finally going to unveil The Avengers Project.
The team working behind this new Avengers video game includes Shaun Escayg who wrote the script for a hit game like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Other members on the developer team consists of talent from well-known studios like Sledgehammer, Monolith, and Visceral.
Another hint of reveal came from Eric Monacelli. He’s leading the project and he sent out a Tweet saying that “Work today was amazing. Can’t wait until we can share this with the world”. Eric Monacelli previously worked on the hit Spiderman-PS4 game.
According to him, developers are now very confident about what they are doing with this new Avengers video game project.
People believe that the game will have a story-driven campaign mode along with co-op mode. Online multiplayer is definitely an option and we will not be surprised if we get to see a superhero battle royale mode in the future.
Now the reveal could be happening at the next big event in the gaming industry which happens to be The Game Awards 2018. We are just a month away from the official event and maybe that’s when Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix will reveal The Avengers project.
Everyone is now more than just excited about the new Avengers game especially after playing a hit like Spiderman-PS4 which is going down in history as one of the best super hero games ever.
