Killing KKK Members is Considered Honorable in Red Dead Redemption 2

Killing those KKK members has no impact on honor system in Red Dead Redemption 2. It looks like Rockstar hates white supremists.

Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay divides your action into two categories, honorable and dishonorable. The game keeps track of your actions through an honor system. Basically, if you participate in meaningless killing, crimes, and other such activities.

Red Dead Redemption 2 tracks some of the darkest parts of American history. This often creates moral dilemmas for those who go into the wild west with a moral compass.

One of the darkest chapters of American history as well as its present is the existence of a group named KKK. The white supremacist group that can be traced back to the American South, exists in the game as well.

The game has three scenarios where the player will come across the KKK. The encounters take place at night in the woods. It is often hard to pinpoint their location as they meet in secret.

The first situation the player comes across is when the KKK is initiating a new member. The second encounter shows them whining about the lack of participants. The third time you see them burning a cross.

When the player comes across a KKK meeting they have multiple options. You can be a bystander and listen to their hate speech or make use of the revolver in your possession.

Shooting the KKK members is fun but interestingly, it has no impact on your honor level. This means that you have a license to kill when it comes to dealing with KKK.

But there is a catch if you decide to attack them make sure they all are dead. If even one of them escapes you can still be arrested for murder even though it won’t have an impact on your honor level.
