Here’s How Just Cause 4 Map Size Compares to Just Cause 3, More Land, Less Water

Just Cause 4 is inbound and it’s bigger in terms of everything including the map size. Just Cause 3 is considered the best by most fans when it comes to the in-game map so we decided to compare them both side by side to give a clear comparison.

The map size of Just Cause 3 (Medici) is 400 square miles including all of the three regions as compared to Just Cause 4 which is said to be approximately 395 square miles. Now the one thing which makes JC4 map different from JC3 is the inclusion of more land as compared to water. JC3 water areas were always a problem for people who had a hard time getting on the land but not anymore.

You can look at JC2, JC3 and JC 4 maps below.

Hopefully, you won’t have to swim a lot in JC4 thanks to the developers. The game surely takes the lead from JC2 and JC3 when it comes to the dynamic weather conditions in the game.

JC4 also comes with tornadoes which is something I have never seen before in any game and trust me they are very brutal. These tornadoes can destroy trees bridges and a lot of other stuff so you better hide Rico when you see one. Well obviously if you are an old player, maybe just jump inside it to see what happens? Your choice.

JC4 consists of dynamic weather, tornadoes, storms, and lightning making it the most good looking and realistic game in the series.

Also check out the video here to see different Biomes and their weather conditions in the game. This video shows us huge mountains and the ways to work around them. You can grab a snowmobile to travel across or just fly over it. There’s also a rainforest shown which looks very stunning and makes me want to play it when it releases.

Other than map size, Avalanche Studios has revealed their DLC roadmap for the game. JC4 Expansion Pass will bring you 3 different DLCs with unique themes. These DLCs are called Dare Devils, Demons, Danger and will release in 2019.

JC4 is scheduled to release on December 4, 2018, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
