Fans have been asking for the release of GTA 6 and it seems that the devs have been listening. Now that RDR2 is out you might think that Rockstar is now going to work on GTA 6. You would be wrong in thinking so. According to a leak, Rockstar is going work on the RDR2 remake for next-generation consoles.
In the same time frame, the devs are going to be busy working on Bully 2. The source reveals that both of these will come out in 2020. But we do have a release window for GTA 6. According to the source, the game is expected to release in 2023 but the devs do believe that 2024 is a much more realistic release window for the game. This means that GTA 6 will release 10 years after GTAV.
If all this information is indeed true then it does make sense. The team was busy with RDR2 and the devs are not done with the game just yet. I am sure that Rockstar is also working on bringing the game to PC. It is more than likely that the devs have not released the PC version alongside console so that they can polish the game and tweak it for PC.
The PC version should come with features like uncapped FPS, HDR support, Ray Tracing, Ultra Wide support and what not. Adding all that takes time. I am sure that the PC master race is willing to wait a bit longer for all these additional features and an overall great experience on PC. Rather than getting a clunky port that is not optimized for PC.
This is not an official announcement from Rockstar Games so you do need to take this with a grain of salt. We will keep you updated regarding the matter. So stay tuned for more information.
