Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Spotted Inside Rockstar’s Own App

Red Dead Redemption 2 companion app seems to have a reference to the PC version with some of its files being leaked. Command lines give a strong indication.

Along with Red Dead Redemption 2’s release, came its companion app. A few of its files have emerged in which there are references to the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. Although we do not have a confirmation of the PC version this indicates a strong possibility.

Although we got to see PC listing for Red Dead Redemption 2 before. But that also got removed later on given that it was a placeholder only. This incident might come as a surprise to you yet Rockstar Games has gone and done this before as well.

Nonetheless, the files of Red Dead Redemption 2 companion app give a clear sign of what’s coming. A series of in-game commands got out some of which are pointing towards RDR2 PC. These commands represent features will become a part of the game’s PC version.

Most notable commands from all the revealed files are as follows:

The second command here shows a Red Dead Redemption 2 frame limit command. Whereas, the next one is most likely due to the Xbox One. The command at the end was also used in the PC version of GTA V.
