After the world was revealed to the new Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment at EA’s E3 2018, there has been quite a lot of contained excitement because following that there has been almost radio silence. No information, no rumors so no speculations, however, that is about to change as a rumor has finally surfaced.
Based on this newly surfaced rumor, this new Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will have a gameplay that would be very similar to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which was developed by LucasArts.
We came to know of this rumor when it appeared on the latest episode of the famous Star Wars podcast, “Now This Is Podcasting”. Which is the official show of a fan of the series from the fan site, Making Star Wars.
Now according to the editor in chief of the podcast, Jason Ward, the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will be very much similar to The Force Unleashed, in terms of gameplay. This he claims to know of through the people connected to this upcoming game.
He also added that however, it would be less intense by saying, “without the Mountain Dew qualities.” By this he meant that the game will be less extreme but will focus on more Force powers, it will be as he said, “more true to canon.”
You won’t see anything absurd
Well first of, since this is a rumor so you know the drill, treat this with caution. That said, what we can speculate from this is that as you may remember, The Force Unleashed was a wonderful game, its gameplay was electrocuting.
One of the key aspects of the game that were loved included its combos, like devilish force combo or the whirling lightsaber Sith combo. Now the fact that they won’t be focusing on the gameplay’s intensity does raise a few concerns.
Having said that the Ward also suggested an interesting thing that Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, will not have multiplayer. Which really would be a shocker for the Star Wars fan but since this is a rumor, the shock is pretty much contained at the moment.
You will probably want to keep Star Wars Battlefront installed for multiplayer stuff. Ward said.
Be that as it may, when this title was announced, we were given a time frame of 2019. Following that, just a few months back at the EA’s recent earnings call, the CEO Andrew Wilson of EA revealed that the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will roll out sometime in 2020.
While that was a bummer, we also came to know that the former Bioware producer, Blair Brown to has joined Respawn to develop this Star Wars video game.
So provided these rumors by Ward turn true, it would definitely be a slightly different take on the franchise.
