First Person View for Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Defended by CD Projekt RED

Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay is in first person and fans are not happy. CD Projekt RED has come out to defend their development choice.

First person view in Cyberpunk 2077 is something fans aren’t happy about. Facebook and Twitter blew up with comments below angry fans wanting a third person view for Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. Some of their arguments make sense while others fans are too angry too even form a sentence properly.

After keeping their silence for a while, the developers decided to reply to the backlash and defended the development choice. According to the CD Projekt RED, it is a modern RPG and players should rest assured, the first-person view is the best way to go here.

The studio also clarified that Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t a first-person shooter but it does have gunplay. At its core, it is a role-playing game.

Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay trailer never shows its first-person perspective. However, a gameplay demo was showcased at E3 and we tell you, the game looks and plays great. The first person view grows on you within minutes. Still, until gamers get to try it out for themselves, such backlash is expected.

In other Cyberpunk news, the game features full frontal nudity and allows players to have one night stands. According to details from E3, players are allowed to take NPCs back to their apartment for sexual acts. What would be interesting to see is if we can take Androids back to our apartments as well. We all know, Android sex is the future, right?

Moreover, the game features both male and female playable characters. The female character got its first look recently.

Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime within the next two years. A release date should be announced by E3 next year.
