If you would remember, sometime in the middle of May, the director of Kingdom Hearts 3, Tetsuya Nomura said that fans can expect the announcement of the release date of the game sometime next month. Although this is not the exact release date, it is definitely something that we can latch ourselves on to. According to Square Enix, Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Window is set somewhere between October and December this year.
Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda confirmed the Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Window in the earning briefing session that, we can expect the game to launch in Q4 of 2018, which normally starts from October through December.
Masuda also talked about Square Enix’s upcoming projects, in which he also revealed that the company does not have anything specifically significant releasing until the launch of Shadow Of the Tomb Raider, which will roll out on September 14th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. So until then, we got not much to linger on to perhaps.
Traditionally Kingdom Hearts games have launched during the holiday periods so this release window does not come as much of a surprise. That said, the specific release date of the game shall be announced at E3. Since it is just a few days away, we would not have to wait for a long time.
Now for those players who have high expectations from the game, they would probably find this interesting, as according to some rumors the game will have about 10 to 19 worlds in it. Since its only a rumor, we cannot be certain, so take this with a grain of salt for now, at least until E3.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be rolling out for PS4 as well as for Xbox One.
With all that said, are you excited for the game? What are your expectations? Let us know in the comments below.
