Since the release of the final piece of DLC for Fallout 4, fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise have been waiting for the day when Bethesda will reveal the Elder Scrolls VI and Bethesda has again reminded us that there will be two more games before Elder Scrolls 6 is released.
Bethesda Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines posted on his official Twitter account while replying to a fan that before we get to see Elder Scrolls VI release there will be two “Big Games” released from the studio.
Also, given that Elder Scrolls is one of the most notable franchises in the industry, Bethesda is being very careful about the setting the fans expectation on the Elder Scrolls VI.
It’s not what you would call a big, active project right now. There are some other ones that we have going. We know it’s important to our fans, and we need to be careful about setting expectations. It’s certainly a game that we’ll be making one day. I could sit here and explain to you exactly what we want it to be.
Also, Pete Hines has revealed that he is quite worried about what to tell to the series’ fans.
He added that a few years back he went to Bethesda Game Studios Director Todd Howard to ask for guidance on what to tell the fans.
“Everybody’s going to ask us about The Elder Scrolls 6. You have to help me, you have to help me come out and say what the studio’s path is, and when The Elder Scrolls 6 is coming, to try and manage expectations.”
Elder Scrolls is a long-running RPG franchise developed by Bethesda and the latest entry in the series in Skyrim which also launched for Nintendo Switch back in 2017.
Also, Bethesda has been very quiet about the two “Big Games” that are to release before Elder Scrolls 6, hopefully, we will get to see them at E3 2018.
