Getting a PUBG chicken dinner is not easy since there are up to 100 players competing with one another for it and only one gets it, if you haven’t had your chicken dinner yet in PUBG then you are not alone as Xbox marketing head, Aron Greenberg, is still to get a chicken dinner.
Just recently, Greenberg posted on his official Twitter account revealing the Top 5 paid games on Xbox Store through a screenshot of his Xbox One dashboard and he owns PUBG. One Twitter user took the opportunity to ask if he has won a chicken dinner yet to which he replied that he hasn’t won a PUBG chicken dinner yet.
The game is currently available on PC and Xbox One, the latter being in Xbox Preview, but the studio has plans to bring the game to PS4. According to PUBG Corp. CEO, they want to bring the game to PlayStation 4 but, Sony is not a fan of early access games.
In related news, Lawbreakers publisher Nexon has partially blamed PUBG for Lawbreaker’s poor sales. Speaking during the company’s earnings call for the third quarter of its fiscal year, The company partially blamed PUBG for Lawbreakers not being able to attract a mainstream audience.
We had very high expectations for its launch; however, the timing of its launch turned out to be unfortunate, specifically the blockbuster PC online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds came out right about the same time, making the market environment very tough for first-person shooters in general and for Lawbreakers.
Nexon CTO Shiro Uemura has also written off the game and noted that the game won’t be accruing any more impairment losses. With Nexon written the game off, the future of the game is uncertain.
PUBG is a multiplayer shooter developed by PUBG Corp. for PC and Xbox One.
