Gran Turismo 6 Online Services Ending 28th March – GT6 Track Path Editor to be Disabled, Redeem Your Credits

It has been confirmed via a recent blogpost that Sony will be shutting down all Gran Turismo 6 online services at 12 UTC on Mar. 28, 2018..

Gran Turismo 6 has had a good run, with a lot of the services and content being provided by the developers. However, a recent blog post on the game’s website has revealed that the developers will be shutting down the entire service at 12 UTC on Mar. 28, 2018. Apart from this, the downloadable content will also not be available after the Jan. 31, 2018.

As you will probably be expecting from the shutdown, this will end all of the connected services such as Community, Quick Match, Open Lobby, and the Multiple Seasonal Events that took place in the game’s world.

In their blog post, the company thanked all of the users of the service. Along with this, the company warned the users to ensure that they had redeemed all of their credits before the end of the service so that they can utilize them to buy the in-game stuff. When the service ends, no one will be able to redeem any of their credits.

Lastly, users of the service should also be aware that the Gran Turismo 6 Track Path Editor will not be available after the service ends. This is because any of the tracks that you create on the app. will not be transferred to the game.
