It’s official, Conan Exiles is finally leaving its Early Access phase after a whole year. The famous multiplayer barbarian survival title that has opened the way to all survival games to get their own “fantasy side” is getting its release on May 8, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and will even receive a physical copy as well as a collector’s edition for the hardcore fans.
After its release, Conan Exiles will be priced at $39.99 for the PC, while the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will cost $49.99. This may seem a little pricey for a survival title since other ones like Rust and 7 Days To Die are now up for sale with less than $10 but it sure is worth the while.
Don’t forget that Ark: Survival Evolved has also received a big rise in its price when released but since then the game is flooding with new content, with more to come in the future.
Funcom has even revealed a new trailer to announce the release of Conan Exiles, showing you how a classic survival game can easily include strong fantasy elements and grotesque creatures for you to hunt or be hunted by:
Alongside with the digital release of Conan Exiles, a physical retail copy of it will arrive on shelves for all platforms as well as a Collector’s Edition featuring loot that every Conan fan would love to own. Let’s see what it contains:
- a custom comic book
- three soundtracks from Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer, and Conan Exiles
- a physical world map
- six digital comic books
- a digital RPG book
- a physical print art book
- a 15 cm/6 inch Conan the Barbarian polyresin figurine
Conan Exiles is coming out of PC Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview on May 8, 2018, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. From there on, we expect the game to become even “richer” bringing new adventures and things to do while trying to survive in its cast world.
